MESC Microsoft Authenticator

New security regulations require us to use an Authenticator app to sign in to sensitive accounts.

Please note that you will need to use your phone to sign in

Please download the Microsoft Authenticator app by following the link below

when you sign in for the first time, you will be shown this screen, click on Next

Once you have the app installed and opened on your phone click on next on your computer

Unfortunately, due to security reasons, I am unable to provide screenshots from my phone.

On your phone, click “Add work or school account

On your computer, click on Next

A QR code will appear

On your phone, click on Scan a QR code

Allow the app to use your camera

Point your phone to the qr code

Click next on your computer

It will give you a code on your computer, type it in on your phone and click on yes on your phone

Approve the sign in

Click next on your computer

Click on done on your computer

On subsequent sign in,

After typing in your password, you will be given a number.

Please open the Authenticator app on your phone and enter the number on your screen

or

If your phone is locked, you will get a notification

tap on the notification, and unlock your phone and enter the number on the screen
