For staff wishing to log a maintenance request for Buildings and Grounds, please follow the steps below.
We have moved from logging your maintenance requests via email to using Issue Tracker in Compass. Issue Tracker enables us to log, track and action issues that occur within the school. It allows us to sort issues into Categories with templates configured so that issues are grouped for a more efficient response time.
1. To submit a job, select Issue Tracker from the Organisation menu.
2. Select Create New Issue
3. Enter the details of the issue into the form.
Template: Select from the following
- Building Maintenance
- Ground Maintenance
- Electrical Maintenance
- Plumbing Maintenance
Description: Add a short description
Date and time will automatically be recorded.
Details: Place as much information here as possible to assist with the resolving the issue.
Location: Room number or leave blank/unassigned.
4. Select Save and Close
