Installing software on a Windows 10 device

We use Software Center to deploy a range of applications for Windows 10 on both school owned devices and student BYOD devices.

Please take note the following limitations

– This service is only available when connected to the school network.

– Some applications may not be available for student owned devices due to software licencing restrictions.

– Software for Apple devices will need to be installed by the user.

To install an application available in Software Center:

1. Open the Start Menu and type Software Center.

If you do not have access to Software Centre, please log a request with the ICT helpdesk or bring the device into the ICT office.


2. Select the application you wish to install.


3. Select Install and the application will download and install on your computer.
